About This Item
- Henri Matisse supposedly said: "I wouldn't mind turning into a vermilion goldfish," and you can see why!
- Matisse's Goldfish oil on canvas painting from the Pushkin Museum, Moscow, shows a happy group of goldfish in 1911. They are in a glass container on a table in the conservatory---probably awaiting transfer to a nice pond in the garden. Six cards of our Matisse portfolio show the goldfish--the other six reproduce Matisse's 1905 painting Open Window, Collioure from the National Gallery of Art, Washington. Twelve envelopes, too.
- 12 4-3/8 x 5-3/4" cards, 12 envelopes
